I prefer to teach the monthly song as quickly as possible- ideally in one to two weeks. I use one of the remaining weeks to play a Repetition Game (to perfect the current month's song) and one week to play a Choosing Game (to review all of the monthly songs from the past year). If I have time left, I teach a short song that works with the weekly Sharing Time theme or choose an activity related to the season.
On the pages linked below, I've listed ALL the ideas I can think of. Choose those that work best for you and have
fun!

Most of the children learned it last year.)
This is wonderful! Thank you for these great ideas! VERY helpful and I look forward to following your blog :)
ReplyDeleteThank you SO Much for the Weekly Lesson Plans. I was just called as the Primary Chorister and I needed this! <3
ReplyDeleteYou are so blessed with talent, and I know that you have prayerfully prepared all of your materials and artwork. Thank you so very much for sharing. I, too, am new to Primary Music and was "somehow" led to this site!
